LESSON #8

Making changes to Meraki

Welcome to Day 8.

Today we’ll begin making changes to networks on our Meraki dashboard.

In this first video, we’ll simply make a minor change to one of the networks on the dashboard. You should find this relatively easy if you’ve completed the previous day’s work!

Alright! With that in mind, let’s move on and see how we can create a brand new network rather than edit an existing one.

Great job! You have now used Get, Put and Post calls with the Meraki API. That pretty much covers the entire basic scope of what we can do.

The truth is, we’ve only just touched the tip of the iceberg right now. The real power of the APIs comes when we can automate these tasks. Imagine if you could do what you just did a hundred times. That could save you countless hours. In this article we discuss the potential of network automation with APIs.

Tomorrow will be the last part of this course, where we’ll learn how to automate the provisioning of new networks.

See you there!
